The flag presented at a military funeral is folded once and, more often than not, never unfolded again. This solid hardwood case is built for exactly that flag — the full-size 5' x 9½' burial flag — so it can be kept where the family can see it instead of stored away in a closet.

A deep dark cherry finish and rounded bullnose edge give it the look of a piece of furniture rather than a display fixture, and it sits on a matching base that lets the case stand on a mantel, sideboard or shelf. A 2¼-inch gap between the glass and the back panel gives you room to place a set of medals, ribbons, service insignia or a folded citation beside the flag.
